The Odense Jacket makes for a classic, soft tailored linen addition to your wardrobe. This style is unlined with a traditional collar and lapel as well as four buttons closing the double-breasted design. Thanks to the cropped length, this jacket has a contemporary and refined viewpoint on a traditional tailored jacket style and looks great when paired with the coordinating Odense Pants or as a statement piece over a separate outfit.
Material
Black: 100% French Linen
Linen is a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.
Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are derived from wood sourced from sustainably managed forests.
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres have gained a commendable reputation for their environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibres with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.

Maker
This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.
The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.
Size and Fit
This jacket is a tailored, double-breasted design for a refined look. Fits true to size with the key fit points to check across the shoulder width and bust, as well as the length as it is a little shorter than a standard jacket.
All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
